Welcome to BIG GREEN PARENTS!
BIG GREEN PARENTS was created to enable all of us at Big Green Company to talk directly with the parent and educator community inspired by Big Green Rabbit.
Since this is our first official post, it might make sense to give you a little background on who we are and why we’re here.
Big Green Company was founded a few years ago by Shane DeRolf with the daunting goal of improving the health and well-being of children and the planet through entertainment. For a bit more on what inspired the creation of Big Green Company, check out the posts from Shane, our CEO.
There’s a fairly simply reason we’re all here – passion. We are passionate in our belief that giving kids and parents today are struggling to find enjoyable and engaging ways to learn about how to handle today’s issues
We all believe the time is right for a kid’s brand that communicates today’s prevailing issue facing families and society in general: the way we treat ourselves, the way we treat others and the way we treat the planet are all connected – this is the new challenge, and parents lack the tools they need to engage young children around this issue.

Big Green Rabbit, the first kid’s brand from Big Green Company, is designed to get kids to engage with the characters and dance and move during each episode, while learning about the environment and health.
This blog is our way to keep you involved in what’s going on here as Charlie and Isabelle try and take our world’s 3 to 6 year old kids on health- and environmentally-focused adventures. It’s also a way for us to hear from you about what you think, what you’d like to see and help us guide our Big Green Brands as they grow and develop.
Maybe if we give today’s kids the tools they need to approach these issues now, we can create the habits and behaviors that we all need to help heal our people and our planet as they grow older…together.
